0.5M Na2EDTA (pH 8.0) - 1 liter
- Dissolve 186.12g disodium ethylenediaminetatraacetate-2H2O (Na2EDTA-2H2O, Mw=372.24) in 800ml ddH2O, and Stir vigorously on a magnate stirrer.
- Adjust to pH 8.0 with NaOH (~20g NaOH pellets) and adjust volume to 1 liter with ddH2O. (Note: the Na2EDTA salt will solute only when the pH of the solution is adjusted to 8.0)
- Sterilize by autoclaving or filtration.
- Store at room temperature.
